The designer
Why we use the manufacturer's configurator
It would have been easy to build our own. It would also have been a mistake.
Door-Stop's designer is connected to their live product catalogue and their live pricing. Every option in it is an option their factory can actually build, and every price is the price they will actually charge on the day.
A configurator we built ourselves would be a copy of that, going stale from the moment we shipped it, and it would eventually quote you a door that cannot be made. So we run theirs, inside our site, in our chrome.
You get the manufacturer's accuracy with our interface around it. On a phone, the standard version of this integration throws you into a new browser tab behind a very old graphic. Ours does not, because we rebuilt that part.

Open the door designer, choose your style, colour, glass and hardware, and enter your sizes. The price updates live as you go, including VAT and delivery. There is no form to fill in and nobody will ring you to 'discuss your requirements'.
No. You can design the whole door first and come back to the sizes. When you are ready, our measuring guide walks you through it in about five minutes, and if you are replacing an existing door you will usually be measuring the brick to brick opening.
You will see an accurate visual of your exact configuration in the designer as you build it. Colours on a screen are never a perfect match for the real thing, so if you are torn between two shades, call us and we will get samples out to you.
Door-Stop use an insulated core and are the best value composite doors in the UK. Solidor use a 48mm solid laminated timber core, which is heavier, allows deeper mouldings and carries a wider colour palette. If the door is the front of your house, Solidor is worth the difference. If it is a back door, Door-Stop is the sensible call.
